"La belle province, is as bucolic as it gets. The fall colours take it to the next level."
The autumn reds and oranges, mixed with the teals and whites of Beluga whales, make for perfect photo ops.
Quebec is a dream for photographers because it blends old‑world charm, dramatic landscapes, and vibrant culture in a way few places in North America can match. The province offers an extraordinary range of subjects: centuries‑old stone architecture in Old Quebec, misty mornings along the St. Lawrence River, and the rugged beauty of Charlevoix. Autumn delivers fiery forests that stretch for miles and the fall harvest brings excitement to the rural areas.
Beyond the scenery, Quebec’s character makes images feel alive. Cobblestone streets, artisan shops, and lively cafés create rich storytelling opportunities. Natural wonders like waterfalls and dramatic mountain scenes offer compositions for landscape shooters. Even the weather—fog, crisp blue skies, and the occasional thunderstorm—adds mood and texture that elevate every frame.
Whether you’re capturing sweeping vistas, intimate street moments, or atmospheric details, Quebec rewards photographers with depth, variety, and a sense of place that feels both historic and timeless.

Iconic Landscapes
Quebec is a unique place with Canada. Part of the uniqueness of this place is the language, but more importantly; the St Lawrence River creates a coastal feeling that is somewhat unexpected.
Mountain Ranges flank the river, while fishing boats pull into port with the days catch. You will enjoy fresh seafood at almost every stop. The smell of maple syrup is a part of daily life and together the two create a rich food culture unmatched across the country.

Accommodation & Meals
Accommodations for this adventure will create a family feeling among your travel group. The first few nights will be spent at an Inn we will have all to ourselves. Nestled on the tidal shores of the St Lawrence, you will enjoy your morning coffee watching the sunrise over the river.
Supper meals are included and will take place at local restaurants featuring local cuisine.
Breakfasts are included throughout the trip as well and are generally on site however there may be a breakfast or two at a local restaurant.
Lunch is not included in the price of the trip. During the day, finding a place to eat and sit down is both difficult and time consuming. Rather, lunch is on the go, a hotdog stand here, an orchard there. All vehicles will be stocked with sufficient snacks and nobody will ever get hungry!

What our guests say
I have been on several photography trips with Greg Johnson and each time has been a wonderful adventure! From the accommodations to the very diversified itinerary and everything in between, Greg plans each trip with the intent of providing his guests with the best photographic opportunities available. I have come away from each trip with a treasure trove of photographs and memories.
I have had the opportunity to do several of Greg's camera adventure tours. From start to finish it is non stop excitement, laughter and unforgettable moments. Greg's energy, his passion for capturing that perfect photograph and teachings are second to none. My husband joined us on one of the Newfoundland excursions and had a fabulous time. The friendships you gain, the photographs you will take and memories you will make are priceless.
I had the opportunity to participate in Greg's Adventure Tour to Tanzania and if I had to express this trip in one word, it would be "magical". We were able to become one with nature and observe without being intrusive. Greg's guidance and encouragement helped me achieve beautiful photographic memories that will last a lifetime.
