I've taken a couple of other photography course before, and this one was definitely the best. Greg has a way of cutting through the crap and simplifying the process of taking pictures. He avoided the trap of trying to cover lots of camera features, and focused on the main ones critical to taking quality shots. Despite a diverse background of students, he was patient with everyone and answered all questions. His laid-back style and sense of humour made it a very enjoyable experience as well as very informative.
It was a wonderful and amazing workshop. Greg has awesome technique the way he coaching us, very smart teaching style, A very good mentor, inspiring, enthusiastic, and he has a sense of humour. I like the way that he "bullied" everyone in the group. Looking forward to the next workshop.
I walked in not sure what to expect. I walked out knowing how to use my camera with confidence. 14 hours of class and I cannot wait to go out and shoot anything I can possibly shoot. Greg was an amazing teacher, very patient, funny, interactive instructor and stopped to answer all and any questions. If you have a passsion for photography, or just want to take amazing photos,go to one of these workshops. I promise you will absolutely gain from it. We had an absolute blast.
I have taken a lot of courses and been in a lot of classrooms over the 20+ years I served in the military. Greg has a way of instructing that isn’t just restricted to instructing, it is engaging, entertaining and informational. Presented in an easy to understand format or way, if you will. It is clear he likes what he does and that passion comes through in his presentation style. I don’t know if this was the best and most informative classroom setting I have been in, but if it was not the best, it is certain in the top 5. I tip my hat to Greg. If you have a camera and want to become a better a photographer, take this course, you will not be disappointed.
This is the second time around taking this intro class! I still found it interesting and picked up a few more skills that I might of missed during the first class taken almost two years ago! I really enjoyed the part when Greg shows the student's practice photos taken after the first day of lessons. The way Greg commands on each photo on the good and what's needed to help improve the shot! I am glad that Greg offered this class for the alumni as a refresher! Hope to take this forward to Greg's intermediate class soon!
The workshop hosted by Greg was fantastic. Using humour and repetition he taught us the skills to form a solid foundation in our photography. The course was definitely worth the time and money. I look forward to taking Greg's intermediate classes.
I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop. Greg is so enthusiastic and makes the class interesting, informative, educational and amusing! I would recommend this workshop to anyone who likes taking photos. I will for sure take this workshop again once I practice some of the techniques I learned.
I just bought a new camera and Greg definitely showed that I was not using it's potential. The class was light hearted, informative and a great couple of days of learning.
Entertain - Educate - Inspire. Greg freakin nailed it! The camera workshop (Auto-Moders Anonymous) was a constant string of "Ah-ha" moments. After years of banging my head against a wall trying to figure out how to use my camera and make it do what I hoped it would it took only 2 days with Greg to clear up and solidify the process. I'm so stoked on what I learned and no longer feel that a 16 OZ piece of plastic and glass is smarter than me. 100% would do again! Thank you Thank you Thank you
I would recommend this amazing two day course to anyone wanting to get using their camera in a real way. The instruction made this possible in only two days of super fun discussion and training. Thanks for being there Greg....
